Beware of cheap underperforming clones

As of 2023 there are many badly performing clones on the market. V2/3GHz NanoVNA uses parts like ADF4350 and AD8342 which are costly and clones have been cutting costs by using salvaged or reject parts.

See official store and look for V2 Plus4/V2 Plus4 Pro versions only to avoid getting a bad clone. We have stopped selling V2.2 versions since October 2020, so all V2 hardware that are not Plus or Plus4 are not made by us and we can not guarantee performance.

Good morning everyone, I'm having a problem with the NanoVna V2 Plus4.
I tried updating the firmware and everything went well
until the end, but then when I turned it on, the screen remained completely WHITE
and since then I haven't been able to do anything.
If anyone can help me solve the problem,
I'd be really grateful.
Greetings everyone,
Claudio i3gxc

Thanks for your reply. In any case, I don't need any help because I've solved the problem.

Well, some of us can read and speak more than one language.

Use the browser apps and respect the fact that not everyone is English speaking.

Hello, I had the same symptoms with my original VNA. The board in my VNA
was defective. It was replaced, and everything worked as usual. I've
since downloaded the latest firmware, and everything is fine.Best

Google Translate does a pretty good job though!

I haven't had any problem with upgrades - so far!

Will it not even let you try reloading the original firmware?

Sounds like you may not have used the lastest official from NanoRFE, and instead used a newer version from dislord or something ?

The dislord versions only support the very first V2plus4 versions that used a display with an open-source driver. Shortly after that, NanoRFE swapped the display with one that requires a proprietary driver, which means that none of the other versions will work.

Reflash with the "latest" Jan 2025 version from NanoRFE and see if it doesn't resolve your problem:

Hi Siegfried DG9BFC,

thanks for the info but I've already solved the problem.

I had installed the firmware version 20220814 which was the stable one,

instead I managed to load the V 20250121 and thus restored

the NanoVna V2 Plus4.

Thanks 73 de i3gxc Claudio

Hi Dave,

I tried looking at the firmware link you sent me

and it tells me to re-flash with the "latest" version of NanoRFE,

January 2025. But on that link, I only see versions 20250121
latest and 20220814 stable. I tried installing version 20220814,

but it froze, so I reinstalled version 20250121 and it restarted.

If you could tell me which version you mentioned

in your email and the exact link, thanks,

Claudio.
